The ‘I Can Do It With a Broken Heart’ music video debuted live on the Eras Tour stage after London N8 and online on Tuesday. The music video features documentary footage of the Eras Tour.
Taylor made a statement on her Instagram regarding the end of the Eras Tour European leg. In the statement, Taylor stressed how no statement was made about Vienna due to continued safety concerns for the London shows. The statement was reposted by many of the Eras Tour dancers and band.
Florence Welch (Florence + the Machine) joined Taylor on stage at London N8 to perform Florida!!! live for the first time. The performance included full choreography, leading some to wonder if it will be performed again on the Eras Tour. The addition also comes ahead of the next Eras Tour shows in Miami, Florida.
Jack Antonoff joined Taylor as a surprise guest during London N8 surprise songs to perform a mashup of ‘Death By A Thousand Cuts’ and ‘Getaway Car.’ During the performance, Taylor and Jack reenacted their iconic scene from Miss Americana writing the bridge to ‘Getaway Car.’
Guests spotted in the crowds for the London Eras Tour shows included: Sharon Osbourne (N6), Cast of Vampire Diaries (N6) Tay and Taylor Lautner (N7), Emily Blunt and John Krasinski (N8), George Russell (N8), Danielle and Este Haim (N8), Jack Antonoff and Margaret Qualley (N8).
Taylor debuted a new Midnights bodysuit at London N5. The new costume consists of many silver stars surrounding a crescent moon.
The Eras Tour broke the record for most sold-out shows at Wembley Stadium on a single tour. The record was previously held by Michael Jackson with seven nights at Wembley for his Bad Tour in 1988.
New Eras Tour merchandise was released on Taylor’s official online store on Monday. The new merch included tour imagery from TTPD, Lover, and more, alongside heart hands and friendship bracelet iconography.
‘Cassandra’ is now the only song from ‘THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT: THE ANTHOLOGY’ that has not been played live yet on the Eras tour, after Taylor’s London N8 surprise song performance of ‘So Long, London.’
The Eras Tour marked its final Europe show with the dancers and backup singers celebrating in an onstage hug with Taylor. The team also celebrated with a cake backstage designed to look like the Eras Tour stage.
Coldplay and Maggie Rogers sang ‘Love Story’ at their Vienna concert on Wednesday night. The performance paid tribute to Taylor and Swifties at the Ernst Happel Stadium where the Eras Tour was supposed to play three concerts in early August.
MTV’s 2024 Video Music Awards fan voting is still open. Fans can vote up to 20 times each day for Taylor in the following categories: Artist of the Year, Best Pop Artist, Video of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Collaboration (all for Fortnight ft. Post Malone). Voting closes on August 30, and the award ceremony is on September 11 in Elmont, New York, at the UBS Arena.
